The Jakarta Trio

The Jakarta Trio is a well-established chamber music group based in Jakarta, Indonesia which contains three well-known young classical musicians in the country ; Giovani Biga (Violin), Carla Suharto (Piano) and Bryant Gozali (Cello). Their first appearance was in summer 2019 as they toured in 4 cities and 5 concerts ; Bali (Ubud and Legian), Jakarta, Bandung and Tangerang. This was followed by an official launching on Metro TV on September 14th 2019.

The trio started from their friendship on Instagram where they all became admins of the largest classical music forum called @musikklasikgram. However Carla and Biga were first friends since they both study in Germany and have toured as a duo in 2018 performing in 6 cities.

They recently had their first European appearance as they got invited to participate and perform at the Koster Festival 2022 in Marienmünster, Germany under the guidance of Rinko Hama (Pianist of the Beethoven Bonn Trio) and at the Virtuoso Belcanto Festival in Lucca, Italy under the guidance of well-known musicians such as Boris Berman, Alain Meunier, Richardo Chechetti, Jan Bjøranger and Yejin Gil.
